a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

 Anytime my mom lectures me it usually impacts the way I feel. A specific moment where she talked to me and it had a lasting impact was when she had a conversation with me about how disappointed she was with me, hearing her talk to me this way made me feel like I wasn't doing what I was supposed to do as a daughter.
