Write about a book, poem, or article you’ve read that made you feel something deeply—whether it was joy, anger, sadness, or curiosity. What was the text, and what moment or message stood out to you the most?

I remember reading those Babysitter's Club books as a kid, and there was this one part kids stuck with-you know, the first one, Kristy's Great Idea. Kristy actually starts a babysitting club with her friends, and the storyline is fun and light hearted, but then there's this whole other layer that just made me feel something more serious at the time. It really caught my attention about how Kristy's family especially her mother were the main characters in this story. Kristy is trying to be the responsible one with the family when it comes to doing something for the family and placing importance on the mother-daughter relationship while still trying to preserve her friendship. There is that point in the book where Kristy realizes how vital her role is in the family but also how much she needs to fight to maintain her independence. It was very relatable because it is referring to that balancing act which we all face takeng care of others and taking care of ourself at the same time.
